About Samantha

Samantha has returned from maternity leave, and is available to accept referrals.

Samantha is a Clinical Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. Samantha completed her postgraduate studies at Bond University and graduated from the Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2016. Samantha has gained extensive practical experience in a variety of settings, including clinical, hospital, school and occupational rehabilitation, which has provided her with the knowledge and skills to work with individuals ranging from children and adolescents to younger and older adults.

Samantha is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve their mental health and wellbeing goals. Samantha’s therapeutic framework focuses on the biopsychosocial factors contributing to an individual’s presenting concerns and utilises a treatment approach from psychological theories including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as incorporating skills-based training such as mindfulness and self-compassion concepts.

Samantha provides a caring and non-judgemental therapeutic environment where her client’s feel safe, relaxed and supported. Samantha’s areas of clinical focus include mood and anxiety disorders, stress and adjustment disorders, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal issues and transitions, as well as child and adolescent behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
