Linda Janssen - Clinical Psychologist

Linda is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Society (AHPRA) as a Clinical Psychologist.  She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and Student member of the APS Clinical College. Linda completed her postgraduate studies at Bond University QLD and graduated with Masters of Psychology (Clinical) in 2021.

Linda, also a mum to three and grandmother to six, has a wealth of life experience working within health settings. Having first a nursing background and now in capacity as a clinical psychology registrar, Linda has a strong passion in the area of Health Psychology. Linda has developed ability to provide psychological services including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for the treatment of depression and anxiety, Compassion-focussed Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.  Her preference is to treat, older adolescents (18 onwards), adults and older persons.

Linda takes care to use a tailored approach to fit each person’s individual needs. She is highly committed to establishing and building a strong therapeutic relationship, which is essential to and designed to enhance good client therapeutic outcomes. 

Linda is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve their mental health and wellbeing goals. She endeavours to provide a caring, empathic, validating and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where her client’s feel safe, relaxed and well-supported.

When not at work, Linda can be found enjoying her grandchildren, bushwalking/ hiking, and walking her dog on the beach.
